We manage full production for pickleball brands that have moved past the first run. You have players wearing the product, a retail price that works, and reorders you cannot afford to miss. What you need now is a factory that holds fit across the size range, a fabric program that does not drift between drops, and one person accountable when a date slips.
That is the entire job. We source the fabric, develop the samples, run the production, classify the duties, and land the goods. You get a US point of contact on US hours and a platform where every style’s status is visible without an email chain.
Teamwear is not a brand
Most companies that surface when you search for pickleball apparel manufacturing are sublimation shops. They print club jerseys and tournament shirts on blanks, in one weight, in whatever colors the artwork calls for. That business is real. It is not your business.
A branded line is a different manufacturing problem. It needs fit blocks you own, a fabric spec that repeats, grading that holds from XS through 3XL, and construction that survives a season of lateral movement and a hundred wash cycles. Blanks and sublimation will not get you there, and a shop built for two week tournament turnaround is not equipped to try.
We work with brands building the second kind of program.
What we produce
Our pickleball clients ship:
- Performance polos and quarter-zips in technical piqué and jersey knits
- Skorts and skirts with built-in compression shorts
- Tanks, racerbacks, and short sleeve performance tops
- Shorts with paddle-friendly pocket construction
- UPF 50+ sun layers, long sleeve tops, and sun sleeves
- Warm-ups, joggers, and mid-layer quarter-zips for indoor and shoulder season play
- Headwear, visors, and performance socks, run through our accessories program
We do not pretend to do everything. If a style belongs at a different kind of factory, we will say so before you spend money developing it.
Where your production runs
We are a US company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Production runs through a vetted factory network, matched to the product rather than to whichever factory has capacity.
China. The broadest fabric library and the deepest bench for technical synthetics, four-way stretch, and multi-trim programs. The default for brands running a full seasonal line.
South Korea. Premium technical knits, bonded seams, and compression construction. Smaller batches, higher sophistication. The right call when fabric performance is part of the brand promise.
Peru. Strong cut-and-sew with growing performance capability, and nearshore lead times to the US. Worth a look when speed to market matters more than unit cost.
Every partner factory has been visited in person by our supply chain team. We require BSCI or WRAP certification at a minimum, and we run inspections with the same third-party agencies used by major retailers.
The details that decide whether a pickleball line works
Fabric. Poly-spandex and nylon-spandex blends in the 140 to 220 GSM range cover most of the category. Weight and knit structure determine whether a polo reads premium or reads promotional, and that decision gets made at the fabric stage, not at the sample stage.
Sun protection. UPF 50+ is now standard in the category. It is a function of fiber, knit density, and finish, and it needs to be tested rather than claimed. We handle the testing so the claim on your hangtag is defensible, the same way we do for fishing apparel brands, where the rating carries most of the product story.
Movement. Pickleball is a lateral sport played in a small box. Side seam placement, gusseting, and armhole geometry matter more here than in golf, where the swing is rotational. Fit blocks borrowed from a golf polo will feel wrong on court.
Grading. The player base spans a wider age and body range than most performance categories. A size range that stops at XL leaves revenue on the table, and grading it properly is a pattern decision made once, early.
How it works
- Quote. Send tech packs, sketches, or reference samples. We come back with pricing, factory recommendation, and timeline. No fee, no commitment.
- Development. Fabric sourcing, lab dips, and pattern work. Sample fees are charged at factory cost and quoted before development starts.
- Sampling. Fit samples, then a pre-production sample you approve before bulk begins.
- Production. Inline and final inspections, with third-party QC on production runs.
- Freight and customs. Air or ocean, with duty classification and clearance handled end to end. You get one delivered price.
- Delivery. Landed at your warehouse or routed into our fulfillment operation.
What it costs
Production cost is laid out style by style, never as a blended figure. Sample fees are charged at factory cost. Duties are classified per style before development and calculated on FOB. Freight is quoted with the order.
A small margin is built into pricing, based on the discounted rates we hold with our factories. Because we negotiate across a large number of brands, our rates typically beat what a single brand gets going direct.
