Yes, we partner with a select number of factories and suppliers across the globe. Our network includes partners in Asia, Latin America, and North America.
Do I communicate with the factories or do you take care of it?
Our proprietary system and dedicated sourcing specialists handle all vendor communication on your behalf. If you would like to meet our factory partners, we welcome brands to join us for on-site visits.
Can I use my own factories or suppliers?
For established brands, we can onboard your existing factories or suppliers into our process.
How do you vet factories?
We work with a select network of factory partners we know firsthand, not random vendors sourced online. Many of these relationships pre-date MakeMine. We visit factories in person, evaluate their capabilities and performance, and require social-compliance standards such as BSCI and WRAP. The goal is simple: reliable production, responsible working conditions, and fewer surprises for your brand.
Does MakeMine have expertise in material sourcing, like performance or technical fabrics?
Yes, MakeMine partners with fabric mills and material suppliers covering various categories. We have a strong focus on performance and technical materials.
Do I pay MakeMine or the vendors? How do I pay?
You pay MakeMine via ACH, domestic wire transfer, or credit card. No more stress over international wires.
How does MakeMine control quality on production orders?
We control quality through a multi-stage approval process and 3rd party inspections that span across material sourcing, sampling, production, packing, and shipping. We also provide testing services for product-specific and retailer compliance requirements.
