Accessories Manufacturing
Hats, bags, sunglasses, and golf accessories — the products your apparel factory can't make. We manage them as one program: matched to your collection, routed to category specialists, delivered on one calendar.
Let's talkMakeMine manages custom accessories production for lifestyle brands: headwear, bags and backpacks, sunglasses, and golf accessories. Each category runs through vetted specialist factories across Asia — including dedicated eyewear facilities in China and Taiwan — because the factory that sews your polos can't mold a hat brim, bartack a backpack strap, or build an acetate frame.
We handle development, sampling, QC, duty classification, and freight — with MOQs starting at 100 units per style. One program, one calendar, one accountable contact.
What accessories actually require.
Accessories are where "our factory can handle it" stops being true. Every category has its own machines, operators, materials supply chain, and compliance requirements.
Most brands discover this after months of sampling with the wrong factory — or settle for a decorated blank that undercuts the rest of the line. Our job is routing each product to the factory that's genuinely best for it, and managing all of them as one program.
Three categories, three specialized supply chains.
Hats & Headwear
Rope hats, truckers, dad hats, buckets, five-panels — custom cut-and-sew construction, not decorated blanks. Fabric matched to your apparel line, every decoration from 3D puff to rubber patches.
Bags & Backpacks
Technical backpacks, totes, duffles, weekenders, garment and shoe bags. Seam-level construction spec, YKK-grade hardware, and HTS 4202 duty classification before development.
Sunglasses
Premium and lifestyle sunglasses through vetted factories in China and Taiwan — facilities already producing for established eyewear brands. Custom tooling and molds, full landed-cost transparency.
One collection, one calendar.
The most common accessories program we run isn't a standalone product — it's the accessory that ships with the collection. The bucket hat in the same gingham as the childrenswear drop. The tote in the brand's signature plaid. The head cover that matches the golf polos. The visor and performance socks that ship with a pickleball collection. The long-brim hat and neck gaiter that ship with a fishing line.
When we already manage your apparel, accessories develop from the same fabric program: same mill where possible, lab-dipped where not, on the same seasonal calendar. When we don't, send the fabric spec and we'll match it. Either way, the accessory launches with the collection instead of a season behind it.
What it actually costs.
Production cost, laid out by style — never a blended figure.
Charged at factory cost, quoted before development starts.
Classified per style before development, calculated on FOB.
Air or ocean, with tracking and customs handled end to end.
Frequently asked questions
Still got questions?
Can one factory make our hats, bags, and sunglasses?
No — and anyone who says yes is subcontracting without telling you. Headwear, soft goods, and eyewear are three different manufacturing categories with different equipment and supply chains. We route each to a specialist and manage them as one program.
Can you match accessories to our apparel collection?
Yes. It's the most common reason brands move accessories to us. If we manage your apparel, accessories develop from the same fabric program. If we don't, send the spec and we'll match it.
Do you handle duties and customs for accessories?
Yes, and in accessories it matters more than most categories — bags under HTS 4202 carry some of the highest duty rates in soft goods, and rates swing by material. We classify every style before development so material decisions account for landed cost.
What are your MOQs for accessories?
Hats start at 150 units per colorway. Bags start at 200-300 units for simpler constructions and typically 500-1,000 for technical backpacks. Sunglasses start at 300–500 units per style, depending on frame construction and whether you're using existing molds or custom tooling. Total order volume and production frequency factor into whether we accept a PO.
