Reliable. Predictable.
Cut and Sew Manufacturing.
MakeMine manages cut and sew production for established apparel brands. We use specialized factory partners selected for what they do best, including facilities with WRAP or BSCI certification, and manage the production work through delivery.
Get a quoteSpecialized factories across five countries. One production partner.
The country comes after the product. We route technical styles, premium cotton, wovens, sublimation, and higher-volume programs to factory partners built for those requirements — then manage the suppliers as one production operation.
Factories selected by category, not just availability
Different products require different factories. Explore the production capabilities behind each category rather than treating one supplier as the answer for everything.
Fix the part of production that is holding back growth
You do not need to rebuild the whole supply chain. Start with the problem creating the most operational pressure.
Your current factory is failing
Quality, communication, dates, cost, or capacity are no longer working.
Switch manufacturersWholesale is adding complexity
Larger orders are creating tighter dates, more requirements, and more production workload.
Scale wholesale productionYou are launching a new category
The existing factory is good at the current line but not built for what comes next.
Launch a new categoryYou need less supplier concentration
Too much production depends on one factory, one country, or one source of capacity.

Why established brands use MakeMine instead of managing factories alone
The right factory for the product
We use established factory partners and route each program by category, fabric, construction, volume, and country requirements. A technical activewear factory and a premium cotton factory should not be treated as interchangeable.
Clear costing before you commit
Every MakeMine quote separates the major production assumptions so you can understand FOB cost, sampling, freight, duties, lead times, and payment terms before placing the PO.
Keep factories that already work
You do not have to replace a supplier just to use MakeMine. We can manage your existing factories, MakeMine factory partners, or both — changing only the parts of the production setup that need to change.
More production capacity without more overhead
MakeMine gives lean teams factory relationships, production management, quality control, and logistics capability without requiring the brand to build a larger internal sourcing department.
One accountable production partner
Time zones, factory follow-up, sampling status, production milestones, and escalation are managed with your team rather than spread across disconnected vendor conversations.
Catch problems before delivery
Quality control begins during development. We establish the approved production benchmark, track changes and approvals, and use in-process or final inspections based on the program.

Freight and customs are coordinated through delivery to your warehouse, 3PL, or MakeMine fulfillment.
Frequently asked questions
Still got questions?
What is cut and sew manufacturing?
Cut and sew manufacturing builds your garment from scratch. Fabric is sourced to your spec, cut to your patterns, and sewn to your construction standards. Unlike private label or blanks, you control every element — fit, fabric, trims, and finish. It's how brands move from decorated blanks to a real product line.
Where are your cut and sew manufacturers?
Our manufacturing partners are located in China, Honduras, Peru, South Korea, and Vietnam.
What are your minimum order quantities?
MOQs are defined at a per colorway basis, varying by category and factory. MOQs in China can go as low as 100 units per colorway, depending on the total size of your PO. That's low enough to test a new style without committing to a container, with capacity to scale into the thousands per style when it sells. For locations outside of China, our MOQs are much higher along with proof of regular production runs.
Do you offer small batch or low minimum cut and sew production?
Yes. Our factory partners in China accept low-minimum first runs so you can validate a style before scaling. Factors such as complexity of styles, total size of your PO, and number of years in business can impact your MOQs.
What are your lead times (sample and production)?
Typically 20-30 days for samples and 45-70 days for production. Lead times vary based on factors such as product category, factory location, and locally sourced vs imported materials.
Do I communicate with the factories or do you take care of it?
We handle all factory communication so you can focus on growing your business. Our factories are not hidden - our customers know the name of their manufacturer, but we manage the communication, giving the factory one single point of contact (MakeMine) for multiple brands.
How does MakeMine vet factories?
Our industry veterans meet with all of our apparel manufacturers in person. We require BSCI or WRAP certifications at a minimum, and we perform inspections and audits with the same third-party inspection agencies used by leading brands and retailers.
How much does cut and sew manufacturing cost?
It depends on garment complexity, fabric, and volume. Because we negotiate pricing across a large number of brands, our rates typically beat what a single brand gets going factory-direct. Every quote itemizes FOB, sample fees, freight, and duties so you see landed cost before committing.
Who and how do we pay?
You pay MakeMine, a US account, through ACH or wire transfer, so you never have to make international wires. We handle payments throughout the entire process - fabric sourcing, sampling, production, inspections, shipping, and customs. Credit cards are accepted for certain transactions.
