A sourcing company should improve the operation, not just send factory names
Most brands do not need another spreadsheet of manufacturers. They need the right production capability and someone accountable for what happens after the introduction.
MakeMine works differently. We use established factory relationships rather than starting every project with an open search. Each factory has specific strengths, and each program is routed around what the product actually requires.
For technical performance apparel, that may mean a partner built around synthetic knits and complex construction. For premium cotton, woven programs, or higher-volume replenishment, a different factory and country can be the better answer.
Specialized factories, not one generic network
No factory is equally good at golf polos, technical outerwear, lingerie, childrenswear, and bags. The factory has to fit the product.
That is why MakeMine’s production model is organized around specialized capabilities. We consider fabric access, equipment, pattern and fit expertise, decoration, compliance requirements, realistic minimums, capacity, and landed cost before deciding where a program belongs.
Explore our priority categories: activewear, golf apparel, outdoor apparel, pickleball apparel, and fishing apparel.
Keep suppliers that are already working
A sourcing engagement does not need to begin by replacing everything.
If your current factory is reliable, MakeMine can manage it alongside our own partners. If one category is failing while the rest of the supply chain works, we can address only that category. If the problem is production management rather than factory capability, we can solve the operating problem without forcing a supplier change.
See apparel production management for how this works.
Built for brands with proven demand
MakeMine is best suited to established brands with recurring production. The value is strongest when product quality, delivery dates, wholesale commitments, multiple categories, or internal workload make factory execution consequential.
If you are dealing with an incumbent supplier problem, see switching apparel manufacturers. If the business is expanding into a category your current supplier cannot make well, see launching a new apparel category.
The goal is not more suppliers. It is a stronger production operation.
