Bio
Maxi Roberts is a design leader with over 15 years of experience shaping products and teams that make a lasting impact. Most recently Director of Design at FIGS and a senior design manager at Canada Goose, she has led design programs across the performance spectrum, and her work spans a vast range—from bras and seamless garments to highly technical outerwear—always with the goal of creating beautiful, purposeful products that tell meaningful stories. At Under Armour she designed lifestyle and performance apparel for the 2016 and 2018 Olympic teams, including a patented long track speed skating skin suit, and earlier shaped outerwear, knitwear, and accessories at L.L.Bean, Coach, and Ralph Lauren.
Maxi thrives in every medium, whether working with physical garment rigs, hand sketching, AI-enabled systems, or the Adobe Suite, and she brings consistency and creativity to every step of the process. She believes the strongest outcomes come from drawing unexpected connections, keeping the process fun, and designing with the future of our planet in mind. At the core, her purpose is to elevate the brands and people she works with while delivering designs that resonate and endure.
