Does MakeMine have factories and suppliers that I can use? Where are they located?

Our factory network is truly global. We partner with manufacturers and suppliers across Asia, Latin America, Europe, and North America.

Do I communicate with the factories or do you take care of it?

Our proprietary system streamlines all vendor communications. For any questions you have, our dedicated sourcing specialists will be happy to answer them. If you would like to tour a factory, we allow brands to join us for on-site visits.

Can I use my own factories or suppliers?

Yes. Our system is vendor agnostic. We will onboard your existing factories and suppliers. Then integrate them into MakeMine’s process.

How do you vet factories?

Our industry veterans meet with all of our manufacturers in-person to put faces to names. We require BSCI or WRAP certifications at a minimum. In addition, we perform inspections and audits with the same 3rd-party inspection agencies used by leading brands and retailers.

Does MakeMine have expertise in fabric sourcing, like performance or technical fabrics?

Yes, MakeMine partners with fabric mills covering various categories, with a strong focus on performance and technical fabrics (both knitted and woven).

Do we pay MakeMine or the factories? How do we pay?

You pay MakeMine directly. No need for international wires. We facilitate payments throughout the entire process, including shipping and customs.

How does MakeMine help ensure quality on production orders?

MakeMine controls quality through a multi-stage approval process and 3rd party inspections that span across material sourcing, sampling, production, packing, and shipping stages. At each phase, specific approvals are required. In addition, we can coordinate testing for other product-specific requirements using our partner network of retailer-approved QA/QC agencies.
